How I did it… rewind 6yrs ago… 2017
- I was married, my husband and I had a shared debt of $450k
- Both of us working all the time to pay for a lifestyle that we were not happy in
- $$$ huge rent
- We decided to end marriage… very sad, although it was the right thing to do for us both
- Easy split – no children and no property settlement

This is what I did next…
- I had a house and I sold it for a good price
- Paid off my mortgage
- I quit my career that was not good for me anymore
- I bought a fully off-the-grid tiny home on wheels and moved it to my friends property – I pay her minimal land rental
- Money left over to buy an investment property in a great location where houses are still affordable – Bundaberg
Moving Forward 6yrs – 2023…
- No mortgage
- own my car
- I have the best tenant in my rental property – positively geared and passive income
- Own my tiny home on wheels
- $0 in power costs – I’m on solar!
- Out-goings in cost: car expenses, tiny house insurance, some food (we grow all our salad now)
Time to do what I love…
- I’ve created my own business working to my own schedule doing lots of things that I love!
- I’m earning good money for not many hours work

- Living my life in the most beautiful location in the Noosa Hinterland with a 700yr old tree (we thought the tree was 400yrs old, council came over and said it is 700!)
- Living with my best friend and collaborating with projects on the land
- Growing our own food forest
- Living in integrity with nature – a minimal eco-footprint
- I have time and money to travel
It’s been a big journey. I’ve met a lot of growth edges. phew!
I’ve healed my heart and I’m now ready for a conscious relationship with a loving man – Yes!
